First Days!

It's official ... my girls are in school! Bella had a great first week and is getting back into the swing of things.  Maya had her first day of Pre-School today! She is such a big girl! Wasn't it 5 minutes ago Bella started Pre-School? We have been getting Maya ready for school for the last month ... talking about how much fun she will have ... in hopes she will not flip out on the first day! She started the day excited ... and was fine until I was getting ready to go ... she started crying and asked me not to leave her there ... I got a bit ready eyed myself ... but reminded her or all the fun she was going to have and that I would be waiting for her when she was done ... She requested I wait "outside" for her ... of course ... I agreed to wait "outside" ... she asked me to stay 2 more minutes ... I did ... kissed her goodbye and off I went ... "outside" ! At pick up ... she was all smiles and had a great day! A great way to start the year!

September Sno

It was about 104 today ... even at 9 pm ... it is still 87 degrees ... I thought we were in Southern California! A perfect nite for a little Sno on the Go! ... If you have never been there ... you must go ... Not your average ... run of the mill snow cone ... It's a sno cone with attitude ... tons of flavors! Then ... they add sweetened condensed milk and /or ice cream! Oh my! YUMMY!

Back To School

My super fabulous 8 yr old is officially a 3rd Grader ... time sure does fly by ... Seems like yesterday that she was starting pre-school. A great first day ... she says her teacher has a great laugh ... and there are lots of friendly familiar faces in her class ... It is going to be a great year! ... In just a few short days ... my other super fabulous daughter actually is starting pre-school. Hard to believe she is 3 already ... What will I do with all that time you ask? Breathe ... think a thought all the way through with being interupted ... run errands minus complaints and begging for whatever is in reach ... I don't know ... but I am sure I will find SOMETHING to do with my 5 hrs a week. Let's hope the first day for my pre-schooler has as much success as my 3rd grader! If she stays at school ... let's me leave ... and doesn't cry for the whole 3 hours ... I will be calling it a good day ... Stay tuned!
