Gourmet Food Trucks ... Such a big thing now ... Wednesday nites in the parking lot of Boomers (off the 405 freeway) from 5:30-9p ... a variety of trucks park and are open for business ... Not the same trucks each week:) The girls enjoyed dessert after dinner ... ice cream cookie sandwiches !

IKEA?

Been to IKEA lately? ... That place is crazy ... Great prices - aside from having to put almost everything together via primarily only pictured directions ... They are supposed to be idiot proof ... but even those with a college education can be challenged ... You have to admit that they have cool stuff.  I alway buy more than I plan to ... I love the kids section ... Maya's head almost exploded ... but that was only after she had to sit on every single solitary couch and chair in the entire building. Then ... she insisted on "riding the eligator" ... (translation - elevator) ... A 1/2 quick trip turned into a 90 min shopping excursion.

Ok ... so ... I am new to this whole Blogging thing ... Not sure exactly what to say ... or if anyone will even give a hoot ... Just the musings of a Coffee Luvin mom of 2.  I love to laugh ... and occasionally I say something funny ... so feel free to read ... laugh ... snicker ... whatever ... I will spinkle my random thoughts here and there:) 

Just started Extreme Couponing back in May ... It took about a month to figure out what the heck I was doing ... but now ... I think I have this racket all figured out ... Shocking how much can be saved ... I shoot for 80% savings ... usually I do better ... Blows me away that I can get $100 worth of stuff for less than $20 ... So much fun! I wish I knew how to do this in college ... I would have been eating more than rice & tomato sauce (a staple of my college days along with Top Ramen).
